Hi fellow peoples
There's lots of sites and blogs about diabetes to visit. A couple I've been on are
Diabetic forum - https://forum.diabetes.org.uk/boards/ and
Diabetes UK - https://www.diabetes.org.uk/
You can view the forum without signing up. However, to post requires you to. Having signed up can make posts, ask questions and get advice. I have found it supportive and informative. It's a UK site, so you get UK figures and info. Sometimes there are links posted to other sites that are helpful as well. And you don't kneed to post just about diabetes. There are regulars, who post often, so you can get to know people. It is moderated, which includes removal of swearing in posts. I was told it's intended to be family safe. As in younger people can go on. It's work/library/public safe.
Diabetes UK is a national charity that provides information, support and does various activities. These include free Information Days around the country that diabetics can attend. They also have a free information pack that you can request.
